8.2 Helicopter models
8.2.1 The procedure in principle
A model memory for a helicopter with 120° CCPM rotor head and electric power
system is created in this example.
The following steps are required to ensure correct operation of the basic model
functions:
1. Creating a new model in the transmitter, see page 190
2. Preparing controls and switches, see page 191
3. Checking and changing servo assignment, see page 194
4. Checking and adjusting the main rotor, see page 195
5. Checking and adjusting the tail rotor, see page 201
The basic functions of the model, i.e. Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, and Throttle /
Collective, can be controlled once these steps are completed.
The basic functions can be extended and fine-tuned as follows:

8.2.2 Creating a new model in the transmitter
1. Open the Memory main menu.
2. Switch to a similar model in the select menu. If no model is available yet or if
the current model is quite similar to the new model, simply proceed with the
next step.
3. Open the new model menu in the Memory main menu.
