Wiring Requirements
Hose/Gun Power Requi rements
Follow these
guidelines
when installing wiring
to
the unit:
Allow
enough
room
to route
your
electrical service line to the
unit.
You can use either of the
two access
holes in the base of the unit for
electrical
seruice. One hole is for rear access and the other
is for
bottom access.
Route any wires
away
from
AC
power
lines, solenoid output
lines,
and electrical equipment such
as
motors, contacts, and relays.
Make
connections
with
the minimum length of wire needed.
A long
wire
can act as an antenna for electrical noise.

The
power
requirements
of
your
hoses and
guns
must be determined to
make sure that
you
do not overload
the unit.
lf
your
Nordson
representative has not
already checked to see that
your
unit can support
all of the hoses and
guns you plan
to install,
you
need to calculate
your
hose/gun
power
requirements
now. You also need to check
your
calculations if
you
change
your
system
configuration
or
add new
hoses
and
guns.
