Recording the frozen image on a PC card
Assign the “PC Card” to “RELEASE 1” or “RELEASE 2” in the user preset menu
in advance. See “Remote switch and foot switch (EXERA and VISERA)” on
page 219.
1. Insert the PC card into the PC card slot. The PC card status indicator lights
up green (see Figure 5.56).

2. Press the “FREEZE” key to pause the endoscopic image (see Figure 5.57).
3. Check the frozen image if it is suitable to record. If not, press the “FREEZE”
key again to return to the live image and repeat steps 2. and 3.

4. Press the “RELEASE” key (see Figure 5.57) to record the image. It may
take around several seconds to record the images.
5. During recording, the PC card status indicator blinks orange, and the
endoscopic image returns to the live image.
If the video system center is turned OFF or the “STOP”
button is pressed during recording, the images on the video
system center will be lost.
