Video signal format
Improper setting of the video signal may displays abnormal
images.
1. Click ” of the “Video signal”. The video signals appear in the pull-down
menu.
2. Click the desired video signal. The selected video signal is displayed.
Aspect ratio
1. Click ” of “HDTV format”. The aspect ratios appear in the pull-down
menu.
2. Click the desired aspect ratio. The selected aspect ratio is displayed.
When the aspect ratio settings of the monitor and CV-180 are
not the same, the top and bottom or right and left of the
image may not be displayed properly on the monitor. It is
recommended to use the default settings of the aspect ratio
and to use the remote control cable described in Section 8.5,
“Monitor” on page 170
A common aspect ratio of HDTV is 16:9, but this instrument
displays only the central part of the image in the ratio 5:4 or
4:3.

RGB For RGB compatible monitors
YPbPr For analog component signal compatible monitors

5:4 For the monitors whose horizontal to vertical ratio is 5:4.
4:3 For the monitors whose horizontal to vertical ratio is 4:3.
