Chapter 9 Function setup
EVIS EXERA II VIDEO SYSTEM CENTER CV-180
1. Click “ ” of “Orientation” (see Figure 9.39). The settings of “Normal” and
“Rotation” appear in the pull-down menu.
2. Click “Normal” or “Rotation”. The selected option is displayed.
“R” mark is always displayed at the bottom right of the display
when the orientation function and PinP function are ON.
PinP (picture in picture) function
The PinP function displays an image of an external device (such as an ultrasonic
observation unit) connected to the video system center, as a sub or main image
on the monitor together with the endoscopic image (see Figure 9.40). The
images from one of the devices connected to the following connectors can be
displayed as the PinP image.
PinP composite terminal on the front panel
(has priority to the PinP Y/C terminal on the rear panel)
PinP Y/C terminal on the rear panel
Please note that during PinP is displayed a time delay of the
image display might occur. Please deal appropriately.

Setting value Explanation
Normal Displays the endoscopic image on the monitor normally.
Rotation Displays the endoscopic image rotated by 180 on the
monitor.
