Description
6.6.3 PRINT CARTRIDGE SET SENSORS
Four micro switches detect the print cartridges. The switches are connected in series above
the cartridge set detection plate [1]. Each tank is provided with a micro-switch. The machine
can specifically detect which print cartridge is not set correctly. An open switch signals when:
 A cartridge is not in the machine
 A cartridge is not installed correctly
To solve this problem, the operator must open the print cartridge cover and confirm whether:
 A cartridge is not in the machine
 A cartridge is not installed properly
