9.2 Example 1: Basic Configuration Example
In the example, a building is divided into three different sections with
a total of 4 detection zones.
Detection Zones:
o Detection Zone 1 (green)
o Detection Zone 2 (blue)
o Detection Zone 3 (yellow)
o Detection Zone 4 (purple)
All detection zones are defined as Immediate Action Detection
Zones.
All loop units are connected to one detection loop.
The system consist of 8 loop units (4 detectors, 1 manual
callpoint and 3 electronic sounders)
The system has one Alarm Zone (red)
One output is used for Fire Alarm Routing Equipment
One output is used for Fault Warning Routing Equipment
One output is used for Fire Alarm Devices (sounder)
A sounder (FAD) is located outside at the front door.
A point in alarm is to be configured to activate all Fire Alarm
Devices.
A point in alarm is to be configured to activate all Fire Alarm
Routing Equipment.
