9.2.3 Initial Startup – Default Configuration
When the power is turned on, the green Power indicator lights up
with a steady green light, and an initialization starts.
When the initialization procedure is completed, the panel will
recognize detectors and other loop units and the system topology is
shown in the display.
Turn the key clockwise.
To enter Service Mode, press and hold down the Enter button for
a few seconds.
Use the Arrow down button to select Service, then press Enter
(the Service Menu will appear in the display).
9.2.4 Save Configuration / Restart System
From the Service Menu, perform the following:
Select System Settings (the uppermost menu selection which is
highlighted), then press Enter.
Select Save Configuration (the uppermost menu selection which
is highlighted), then press Enter.
Type the Site Name, then press Enter.
Type the Operator Name, then press Enter.
Type the Site Configuration Version, then press Enter.
Type a Description, then press Enter.
Press Enter once more to confirm.
Use the Arrow down button to select Restart System.
Use the left Arrow button to select Accept, then press Enter.
The message “System is now shutting down…” will appear, and the
system will reboot automatically.
Before you start the site-specific configuration, two commands
should be executed; Save Configuration and Restart System.
In this way, prior to the site-specific configuration, you can verify that
the system works properly using the default configuration.
Furthermore, you will have a fully operational system while you are
performing the site-specific configuration.
When the system reboot is completed, you can enter Service Mode,
and start the first step of the site-specific configuration.
