5.8.3 Connect to Output
This menu allows you to connect a selected loop input to an output.
From the Loop Inputs Menu (5.8.1), perform the following:
After pressing the Function button for the selected loop input(s),
select Connect to Output (the first menu selection), then press
Enter.
A list of all available outputs will appear in the display.
Use the arrow up/down button to select the output that
is to be connected to the selected loop input, then press Enter.
To confirm the setting, press Enter once more.
5.8.4 Connect to Alarm Zone
This menu allows you to connect a selected loop input to an alarm
zone. In this way, the system will be able to activate Fire Alarm
Devices (FADs) in the alarm zone.
From the Loop Inputs Menu (5.8.1), perform the following:
After pressing the Function button for the selected loop input(s),
use the arrow down button to scroll downwards Connect to Alarm
Zone (the first menu selection), then press Enter.
A list of all alarm zones will appear in the display.
Use the arrow up/down button to select the alarm zone that
is to be connected to the selected loop input, then press Enter.
To confirm the setting, press Enter once more.
5.8.5 Disconnect from Output
This menu allows you to disconnect a selected loop input from an
existing output.
From the Loop Inputs Menu (5.8.1), perform the following:
After pressing the Function button for the selected loop input(s),
use the arrow down button to scroll downwards to
Disconnect from Output, then press Enter.
In the display you will now see a list of all outputs (if any) that are
connected to the selected loop input.
To disconnect the selected loop input from an output, use the
arrow down button to select the output, then press Enter.
To confirm the setting, press Enter once more.
