Note
When using NaCl solutions with only one connector, make sure there is
enough NaCl solution.
After the rinse is completed and the
pre-defined volume used, the blood pump will
stop.
An audible signal will be given.
If using an NaCl solution with two
connectors:
 Disconnect the venous patient line from
the empty bag and connect it to the NaCl
solution.
If using an NaCl solution with one
connector:
Do not change the existing connection.
 Use the rotary selector to select Start UF
rinse? [OK] to confirm! and press [OK].
Indication of the decreasing UF volume
and the remaining rinse time.
 Turn the filter upon notification.
Note
The filter life, which is shown in the status bar, is automatically added to
the service life of the tubing systems.
When the UF volume reaches 0 ml, the
extracorporeal blood circuit is in recirculation.
If using an NaCl solution with two
connectors:
Do not change the existing connection.
If using an NaCl solution with one
connector:
 Stop recirculation by pressing the [STOP]
key.
Press the [STOP] key for approx.
3 seconds.
 Connect the venous patient line to the
arterial patient line using the recirculator.
 Continue recirculation by pressing the
[START/RESET] key.
