7-6-2-1 Disruptive Mode
Allows to enable or disable disruptive mode troubleshooting. When accessing through InSite, this can
only be enabled with the customer/operator confirmation.
7-6-2-2 S.M.A.R.T. Tests
The S.M.A.R.T (Self Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology) HDD Status - Reporting tool is a
piece of software, which is present on most modern hard disks that continuously gathers data about
performance and operations, such as hour meter, temperature, read/write failures, etc.
The manufacturer of the hard disk limits these measurements to certain thresholds. When these
thresholds are met (e.g., due to old age or excessively high temperatures), the S.M.A.R.T software
concludes that the hard disk is very likely to fail within the next 24 hours.
• S.M.A.R.T HDD Test short
Wait 2 minutes for test to complete. Result and status can be checked by selecting Status.
• S.M.A.R.T HDD Test long
Wait 55 minutes for test to complete. Result and status can be checked by selecting Status.
