EVISION 3 DRAFT (JULY 19, 2018) BASIC SERVICE MANUAL
7-46 Section 7-7 - Hardware Tests
7-7-2 Apertur Lateral Min
This test is used for detection of missing channels on Dachstein Probe Interface (DPI) or missing
elements on probe, which are typically shown as dark Ultrasound Lines.
NOTE: To distinguish if it is a board problem, or if the probe is defective, it would be helpful to have an additional
probe on site.
7-7-2-1 Check for missing channels or elements.
1.) Connect a probe and then press the FREEZE
key to "run" the live scan (Write Mode)
2.) Select the APERTUR LATERAL MIN
button in the Diagnostics Tool window.
Missing channels or elements can easily be detected as dark shadows (shots with low intensity) from
Ultrasound image.
