INSPECTION
Remove the rear fender (page 13 - 11 .
Disconnect the pulse generator wlr. connectors.
Me.suf. the resistance between the blue/yellow wire and
ground .
STANDARD: 80-120 0 (at 20
o
e, 88°FI
IGNITION TIMING
Warm up the engine.
Remove the timing inspection hole cap and connect 8 timing
l ight and tachometer.
The timing is correct if the " F" mark on the fl ywheel aligns
with the ]ndll)( mark on the left crankcase cover 8t 1,700 ±
100 rpm.
If the ignition timing is not correct , inspect the COl unit and
pulse generatOt.
