Measure the r oto r tip clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.25 mm (0.010 inl
Measure the pump body clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0. 20 mm (0.008 in)
With the oil pump cover gasket in place, measure the rotor end
clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT : 0. 12 mm (0.005 in)
INSTALLATION
Install the oil pump cover with a new gasket and tighten the
cover screws.
Ins lall the oil pump with its gasket by aligning the pump drive
s haft with the slot in the cam chain guide spindle.
