RECOIL STARTER/ALTERNATOR/ CAM CHAIN TENSIONER
ALTERNATOR REMOVAL
Remove the drive chain cover (page 12-5),
Remove the neutral indicator by removing the E-clip.
Remove the two bolts and remove the left crankcase cover
and cover gasket.
Drain the engine oil (page 2-2).
Remove
the starter driven pulley by removing the four attach -
ing bolts.
Hold the flywheel and remove the flywheel nut and washer.
TOOL:
Universal holder 07725 - 0030000
Install the flywheel puner and remove the flywheel from the
crankshaft.
Remove
the wood r uH key.
TOOL:
Flywheel puller 07733 - 0010000 or
07933-0010000
