CONTROL STATES target
Selecting the CONTROL STATES command target on the HPM Status display as shown in the
following figure invokes additional targets at the bottom of the display to change the control state of the
HPMM chosen by its status box.

CONTROL STATES display targets
The command targets at the bottom of the display in Figure 111 perform the functions defined in the
following table.

Target
Function
HPM FULL CONTROL
Changes the UCN’s control state to FULL. The command
is executed by selecting the ENTER target.
HPM BASIC CONTROL
Changes the UCN’s control state to BASIC. The
command is executed by selecting the ENTER target.
CANCEL
Clears the HPM FULL CONTROL, HPM BASIC
CONTROL, and ENTER command targets from the
display.
ENTER
Executes the CONTROL STATES function command.
AUTO CHECKPT target
Selection of the AUTO CHECKPT command target on the HPM Status display as shown in the
following figure invokes additional targets at the bottom of the display to change the Checkpointing state
of the HPM.
