PRIMARY IOP STATUS and SECONDARY IOP STATUS targets
The AO IOP can exist as a redundant configuration.The SECONDARY IOP STATUS and PRIMARY
IOP STATUS targets provide a means of selecting either the primary or secondary IOP displays. Each
display has a unique message. The primary display can display the message “CALIBRATION NOT
PERMITTED, MODULE NOT IN IDLE.” The secondary display has the message “SECONDARY
IOP, CALIBRATION NOT PERMITTED.”
IOP calibration
The AO IOP Detail Status display can be used for calibration of the IOP’s D/A converters. Targets are
provided to enable/disable the calibration procedure. The calibration procedures are found in the “IOP
Calibration Procedures” section.
AO IOP calibration
Figure 163 and Figure 164 show the targets available for calibration of the Analog Output (AO) IOP.
Selecting the ENABLE CALIBRATN target initiates the calibration procedure, while selecting the
DISABLE CALIBRATN target terminates the procedure.
