Loss of communications
If the data for the above messages is unavailable due to the loss of communication with the IOP, a
message in the form, “<message data> UNAVAIL,” will appear.
4-second data update
The data is updated every 4 seconds.
IOP Box Soft Failures Displays
SOFT FAILURE targets
Three Soft failure targets on the IOP display provide access to IOP Soft failure displays. The three
targets are:
 BOX SOFT FAILURES
 SLOT SOFT FAILURES
 SLOTS WITH SOFT FAILURES
Targets on each display provide the ability to move between the three types of Soft failure displays and
the IOP Detail Status display easily.
Target selection
The initial Box Soft Failures display, invoked by selection of the BOX SOFT FAILURES target on the
IOP Detail Status display, is shown in the following figure. The Box Soft Failures displays consist of five
pages as shown in the following figures:
