RUN STATES display targets
The command targets at the bottom of the display in Figure 114 perform the functions defined in the
following table.

Provides COLD and WARM STARTUP targets for starting
the HPMM or IOP that was chosen by its status box.
Changes the HPMM or IOP chosen from the Idle state to
the OK state if it has a valid database, which is indicated.
The HPMM or IOP will then begin processing data. The
command is executed by selecting the ENTER target.
The chosen HPMM or IOP is changed from the OK state to
the Idle state. The command is executed by selecting the
ENTER target.
Changes the chosen HPMM from the Idle or Fail state to the
Alive or OK state, respectively. To place the HPMM back in
service after Shutdown, its personality program and
database must be reloaded using the LOAD/SAVE
RESTORE target. The command is executed by selecting
the ENTER target.
Swaps the chosen HPMMs or redundant IOPs. The present
primary HPMM or IOP becomes the secondary HPMM or
IOP, respectively. The command is executed by selecting
the ENTER target.
Accepts the existing database for the chosen IOP as the
valid database. The command is executed by selecting the
ENTER target.
Allows all HPMMs and IOPs to be affected by the
STARTUP or IDLE target.
Clears the STARTUP, IDLE, SHUTDOWN, SWAP
PRIMARY, VALIDATE IOP DB, ALL MODULES, and
ENTER command targets from the display.
The ENTER target must be selected for the chosen RUN
STATES function to be executed.
