IOP Slots with Soft Failures Display
Target selection
The Slots with Soft Failures display, invoked by selection of the SLOTS WITH SOFT FAILURES
target on the IOP detail Status display, is a single display as shown in the following figure. No failure is
displayed as the response NONE indicates.

HLAI IOP Detail Status Display
IOP calibration
The HLAI IOP Detail Status display can be used for calibration of the IOP’s A/D converters. Targets are
provided to enable/disable the calibration procedure. The calibration procedures are found in “IOP
Calibration Procedures” section.
HLAI IOP calibration
The HLAI IOP Detail Status display, as shown in Figure 143, is typical of the display for an IOP that is
not in the IDLE or IDLESF (Idle or Idle/Soft Failure) state. Calibration is permitted in only the IDLE or
IDLESF states, as indicated by the “CALIBRATION NOT PERMITTED, MODULE NOT IN IDLE”
message at the bottom of the display.
