3.5 Installing an independent deployment AI/DI unit
Procedure
Step 1 It is recommended that the independent deployment AI/DI unit be installed on the top rack
rail in the rear of the network cabinet.
Plan the installation position for the independent deployment AI/DI unit based on the cable routes in the
network cabinet, and install the independent deployment AI/DI unit at the planned position in the
network cabinet.

3.6 Installing Sensors
3.6.1 Installing a NTC Temperature Sensor
Context
Temperature sensors should be installed inside cabinets. The number of temperature
sensors to be installed inside each cabinet depends on the customer requirement. This
section describes how to install six temperature sensors inside each cabinet.
Six temperature sensors should be installed in each cabinet, one each at the 11 U, 22 U,
and 33 U positions in the front and rear door frames.
