2 DGC 6000 XXL Model – Large Cavity
Issue - Missing mounting screws for EBA6868 30” trim kit.
Early production models of the large-cavity combi-steam oven are missing
the mounting screws for the 30” niche trim kit installation (see picture). Please
do not “drill” or “make” holes for mounting the trim kit. The appliance must be
returned through the RA department and a new one must be ordered with
serial number 141989982 or higher. Machines with this serial number and
higher will have the mounting screws for the trim kit installation.
No mounting screws in early-model XXL ovens.
Part numbers are subject to change. Always consult the ETD for the latest
part number.
3 Gen6 Electronics for M-Touch Models
The top-class Gen6 appliances with M-Touch controls have interchangeable
electronics, i.e. the same power & control boards can be used in CVAs,
DGCs, ranges and ovens just by uploading the proper software.
With this in mind, the ETD shows electronic boards that are shipped blank –
no software installed – so it is up to the service technician to use the MDU5 to
upload the proper software variant at the time of installation. For these
electronics, the ETD will display a description like this:
Never order an electronic with this description:
