3.8 Float Stuck in Water Tank
Symptom:
Float(s) and chamber cover are stuck in the water tank.
Cause:
Inadequate adhesion between float chamber and cover.
Series modification:
None at the moment. The welding technique for adhering the cover to the
float chamber has been improved. The chamber has also been enlarged in
order to prevent the float from jamming. Series modification effective after
machine no. 111340154.
Remedy:
Replace the water tank.
Note:
The inventory in the replacement-parts warehouse has been simplified so
that now only the improved water tank is available.
Install a water tank with the following material numbers (or higher):

Condensate tank: mat. no. 8577081 (check the parts CD first)
