Install a new drain valve. See Section 035-4.6.
Cause:
Drain hose under the steam generator has flattened and stuck together.
Remedy:
Install a new drain hose.
3.5 Fault Code F11 - Steam Generator Drainage Fault
Symptom:
Fill-level electrode (E1/2) constantly provides a fill-level signal.
Cause:
Drain hoses blocked.
Remedy:
Clean the drain hoses.
Cause:
Feed pump (M7) operates constantly.
Remedy:
Install a new feed pump. See Section 045-4.3.
Note:
The feed pump is installed with a blocking diode. This can lead to a faulty
resistance measurement being made. In order to ensure a correct
measurement, always measure the resistance of the feed pump twice with
the polarity reversed.
Cause:
Fill-level electrode (E1/2) defective.
Remedy:
Replace the steam generator. See Section 035-4.4.
Cause:
Drain valve (M29) permanently closed.
Remedy:
Install a new drain valve. See Section 035-4.6.
Cause:
The steam generator is clogged with limescale.
Descaling is not strong enough. Limescale residue remains in the steam
generator and clogs drainage.
Series modification:
Modified operating instructions. The descaling process now requires two
descale tablets.
Remedy:
Notify the customer that the descaling process now requires two descale
tablets.
