Cause:
Power electronic defective.
Remedy:
Replace the power electronic. Refer to Section 045-4.8.
Cause:
Bottom heater element temperature sensor short-circuited to ground. As this
state is not defined in the electronic, fault code F06 is registered.
Remedy:
Check the bottom heater element temperature sensor and replace it, if
necessary. See Section 030-4.4.
Note:
Using the service mode or the Miele diagnostic utility (MDU), the
temperatures that the temperature sensor registers can be measured.
Using the measured values, it can be determined which temperature
sensor, if any, is defective. If several temperature values of 00°C are
indicated, it is highly probable that the temperature sensor on the bottom
heater element is defective.
3.3 Fault Code F07
Symptom:
Fault code F 07 is displayed in service mode or via the MDU.
Cause:
Software fault.
Remedy:
N/A for DGC models. Delete the fault code.
3.4 Fault Code F10 - Steam Generator Water Intake Fault
Symptom:
Fill-level electrode (E1/2) does not provide a fill-level signal.
Cause:
Intake hose in water tank missing or split.
Remedy:
Replace the intake hose.
Note:
The intake hose can be sent to the customer, as it can be removed and
installed very easily.
Cause:
Hoses are blocked.
Remedy:
Clean or replace hoses.
Cause:
Connection between level electrode E1/2 and the power electronic open-
