Assignment rule
The device excludes the
multiple assignment of functions. When you assign a function,
this function is no longer available for other digital inputs or for links to such inputs.
– Also use the information in Table 6-16 Digital inputs suppressed during function check
/ measuring protection (Page 143) when setting the function (pre-selection).
– By selecting a function (pre-selection) you also specify which functions can be
assigned to the logic operation.
Additional parameter fields are displayed according to the function (pre-selection) or

Overview
Digital outputs on the basic device and optional module 1
Each basic device comes equipped with eight user-assignable digital outputs (relays) whose
output contacts can be switched. Optional module 1 makes 12 further digital outputs
available for which parameters can be set. The numbering of these digital outputs begins
again at 1.
