GPS7 GPS Synchronization and Timecode module
INPUT-OUTPUT.
Use the left ()orright() arrow button congure the
BLACK 1 connector as an INPUT or an OUTPUT (if allowed). This connector
is forced to be an input if the TIMING REFERENCE SOURCE is set to a Genlock
signal or if VITC is the TIME OF DAY reference.
NOTE. If a reference signal is connected to the BLACK 1 / REF IN connector, you
should congure this connector as an input so that the GPS7 module does not
output a vid
eo signal if the Reference Source is changed to GPS or internal.
This might occur when using the GPS7 module in a dual-conguration where the
moduleisb
eing switched between being a slave via g enlock to incoming video or
a master source using the GPS/GLONASS reference.
This menu
selection is available only when BLACK 1 is selected for conguration
and the GPS7 module has the BLACK 1 / REF IN connector.
FORMAT. Use the left ()orright() arrow b utton to select from the signal
formats in the following table. Press the ENTER button to conrm the selection.

The signal formats available in this submenu depend on the HD trilevel sync rate setting (non-integer or integer),
which is set using the Select Output selection in the GPS7 module main menu. (See page 3-113, GPS7 module
main menu.)

The CW 10 MHz format is available on the BLACK 3 output only.

IELD REFERENCE. Use the left ()orright() arrow button to Enable or
Disable the eld reference in the output signal. Press the ENTER button to
conrm the selection.
NOTE. This submenu is available only when a non-HD format is set as the signal
format of the selected BLACK output.
