FILESYS Messages
FIB-4
Error Message %FIB-4-FIBRETRY_WARNING: IPC port for slot [dec] to become available
for CEF table download (retried [dec] times)
Explanation
The FIB table failed to download for the number of times specified in the message.
Recommended Action If the FIB table is successfully downloaded in a subsequent retry, no action is
required. If the operation is not successful, copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or
in the system log. Research and attempt to resolve the issue using the tools and utilities provided at
http://www.cisco.com/tac. With some messages, these tools and utilities will supply clarifying
information. Search for resolved software issues using the Bug Toolkit at
http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/. If you still require assistance, open a case with the
Technical Assistance Center via the Internet at http://tools.cisco.com/ServiceRequestTool/create, or
contact your Cisco technical support representative and provide the representative with the

the running configuration to standby, so standby will be reloaded
Explanation
The active supervisor engine cannot access its running configuration to synchronize the
configuration to the standby supervisor engine. This can be caused by temporary resource issues
such as high CPU.
