Explanation
An invalid VLAN ID was detected in the VTP database during the download of the VTP
configuration file. This condition indicates that the VTP configuration file in NVRAM is corrupted.
[dec] is the VLAN ID.
Recommended Action Save a copy of the vlan.dat file that includes the invalid VLAN ID to help
investigate the condition. Collect the output from the show vtp status command and the show vlan
command. Contact your Cisco technical support representative with the information that you have
collected.
Error Message %SW_VLAN-4-VTP_SEM_BUSY: VTP semaphore is unavailable for function
[chars]. Semaphore locked by [chars]
Explanation
The VTP database is currently locked by another task and is not available.
Recommended Action Retry the operation later. If this condition recurs, copy the message exactly as
