1. Unmachined surfaces all over. However
cast type crankthrows, main bearing cap,
crosshead bearing cap, crankpin bearing
cap, pipes inside crankcase and chainwheel
need not to be painted but the cast surface
must be cleaned of sand and scales and
kept free of rust.
