3 - 2 Operator’s Manual
3 System Preparation
• The battery is inside the machine. Only Mindray technical professionals or
engineers authorized by Mindray following training can perform battery
installation and uninstallation.
• If you need to change the battery or buy a new one, contact your sales
representative.
• The replacement of lithium batteries by inadequately trained personnel
could result in a HAZARD (such as excessive temperatures, fire or
explosion).
Battery Performance
When the system is working, the battery charges when its capacity is not full. The indicator turns
off when the capacity is full.
• The battery can be charged by AC wired power supply or Air Station.
– Under shutdown status, the wired charging time from capacity 0 to 100%:
less than 6 hours for 8/6 batteries;
less than 4 hours for 4 batteries.
– Under shutdown status, the air charging time from capacity 0 to 100%:
less than 8 hours for 8/6 batteries;
less than 5 hours for 4 batteries.
Valid working area: When the center lines on both sides of the Air Charging Module and
the Air Station are aligned, the distance between the Air Charging Module and the Air
Station is within 10 mm, and the center lines of the Air Charging Module deviate from the
center lines of the Air Station by 20 mm each, the battery can be normally charged by Air
Station.
• The system lasts more than 5.5 hours in standby mode with full 8-batteries, more than 4 hours
in standby mode with full 6-batteries, and more than 2.5 hours in standby mode with full 4-
batteries.
Power off the system if it will not be used for a long period of time (including storage/transportation
condition). Do not leave the system in standby status, otherwise the batteries will be discharged and
permanently damaged.
Battery specification
• Voltage: 14.4 V
• Capacity: 6600 mAh (1 battery)
Battery Charged by the Air Station
• Before using the Air Station, check the surface of the Air Station and the surface of the Air
Charging Module of the device.
• Ensure that the power cord or probe cable of the device does not interfere with or block the
operation of the Air Charging Module when the device closes to the Air Station.
