NOTE: Apply Polaris Premium Grease to pivot
shafts. Verify pivot shaft mounting faces are free
from grease.
3. Install components in reverse order of disassembly.
Use new loc
k nuts where applicable. Torque
fasteners to specifications.
NOTE: On adjustable camber models inspect and
re
-adjust camber settings after replacing the control
arms or spindle rod ends.
Spherical Bearing Replacement
1. Remove the lower control arm from the vehicle.
2. Place the control arm on th
e bench and remove the
retaining ring.
3. Using an arbor press, press the spherical bearing out
o
f the bore.
4. Obtain new spherical bearing. Use an arbor press and
p
ress the bearing into the control arm bore. Press on
the outer bearing race.
5. Install a new retaining ring with the flat (sharp) edge
ou
t.

Control Arm-to-Bulkhead Nuts: 30 ft-lbs (41 Nm)
Front Control Arm-to-Bulkhead Fastener/Nut:
40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)
Control Arm-to-Spindle Fasteners: 40 ft-lbs (54 Nm)
Sway Bar Linkage Fastener: 15-22 ft-lbs (20 - 30 Nm)
NO GREASE
