9.1.2 Output test
Proceed as follows to test that the outputs work perfectly:
1) Enter <Master / Installer code>, press and then .
2) Press
repeatedly until TEST appears.
3) Press and press repeatedly until TEST OUTPUTS appears.
4) Press .
5) Press and to select the device the outputs of which you want to test. Press
to confirm.
6) Press and to select the output to test. Press to confirm.
7) The output will switch from ARM to DISARM every time
is pressed. Check that
the output behaves as expected, e.g. that a siren sounds (if the output is connected
to a siren) or that an indicator lights up (if the output is connected to an indicator or
blinker). Press
to proceed if the test was successful.
8) Repeat from step 6 to test the other outputs of the device.
9) After having tested all the outputs of the device, press
and repeat from step 5
to test the outputs of another device.
10) Press
repeatedly to exit from the menu. The outputs will be returned to the correct state.
9.1.3 Battery test
Proceed as follows to check the condition of the control panel battery:
1) Enter <Master / Installer code>, press and then .
2) Press
repeatedly until TEST appears.
3) Press
and press repeatedly until TEST BATTERY appears.
4) Press
.
5) The battery test will last for approximately 30 seconds, during which the keypad will
beep. The battery status information provided by the LEDs and on the event log will
be updated at the end of the test (if there are changes). Any auxiliary power units
will also run the battery test and communicate the result to the control panel at the
end. The failure LED will indicate flat batteries.
6) Press
repeatedly to exit from the menu.
