You connect AC power to the services gateway by attaching power cords from the AC power sources to
the AC appliance inlets located on the power supplies.
WARNING: To meet safety and electromagnetic interference (EMI) requirements and
to ensure proper operation, you must properly ground the services gateway chassis
before connecting power. See “Grounding the SRX3600 Services Gateway” on page 139
for instructions.
CAUTION: Do not mix AC and DC power supplies within the same services gateway.
Damage to the services gateway might occur.
To connect the AC power cords to the services gateway for each power supply:
1. Locate the power cord or cords you will use to connect the services gateway to AC power. The services
gateway is not shipped with AC power cords. You must order them separately using the model numbers
shown in “SRX3600 Services Gateway AC Power Cord Specifications” on page 76.
2. Insert the appliance coupler end of the power cord into the appliance inlet on the power supply, as
shown in Figure 60 on page 146.
