IMPORTANT :
• Do
not hit the fresh-air-filter. If the fresh-air-filter
becomes deformed, dust may enter into the air-
conditioner, which may cause damage and
malfunction for the machine.
• Do not use gasoline, thinner, or similar
chemicals to clean the fresh-air-filter because
damage to it may occur.
• Using gasoline, thinner, or similar chemicals to
clean the fresh-air-filter may also cause an
unpleasant odor in the cab when the system is
used next time.
7. Cleaning the recirculation air filter
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
• When removing and attaching the recirculation-
air-filter, apply parking brake, and stop the
engine.
IMPORTANT :
• If the machine is used in extremely dusty areas,
clean the recirculation-air-filter more frequently
than in the specified maintenance periods.
1. Remove
the thumbscrews and pull out the
recirculation-air-filter.

2. Blow
air from the opposite direction to the normal
air flow of the recirculation-air-filter.
Keep pressure of compressed air as follows.
