17. Diesel-particulate-filter (DPF)
regeneration indicator
As
PM (particulate-matter) build up inside the DPF, the
DPF regeneration cycle starts automatically to burn
away PM. During DPF regeneration, the DPF-
regeneration-indicator lights up and stays on, the
message “DPF regen in progress” or “Engine output
is limited” appears, and the beep tone keeps
sounding to warn the operator.

18. Engine rev up indicator
If the engine rpm is too low to start the DPF
regeneration,
the engine-rev-up-indicator lights up, and
the message “Increase Engine RPM” or “Engine
output is limited” appears. In case that the engine-
rev-up-indicator lights up, and the message “Increase
Engine RPM” or “Engine output is limited” appears,
rev up the engine until the engine-rev-up-indicator and
the message go out, the DPF regeneration will
automatically start.

19. CCV system freezing warning

T
o avoid personal injury or death:
• Do not draw out the engine oil dipstick
immediately after the warning lamp has come
on. Allow engine to cool sufficiently before
drawing out the engine oil dipstick. Otherwise
the hot engine oil may spout and make burn.
If the CCV pipe freezes, the master warning indicator
starts blinking, the message “Engine system error”
appears on the instrument panel, and the buzzer starts
sounding continuously. If you continue running the
engine, the message “CCV system freezing” appears
and the engine performance is limited. In such case,
stop the engine and consult your local KUBOTA dealer
immediately.

IMPORTANT :
• Before and after the cold season, remove the
CCV internal pressure switch cover and check
the terminals, CCV internal pressure switch and
others. If any of them is found corroded, do not
use the machine and consult your local
KUBOTA dealer for repair request.
