2. Start
refueling the machine. The buzzer beeping
intervals change according to how much fuel is
poured into the tank.
As the fuel tank is filled up, the buzzer sound
becomes almost continuous. The buzzer will stop
sounding.

NOTE :
• If
the start switch is pressed while filling the
fuel, the start switch changes to the
“ACCESSORY” mode.
(See Start switch on page 96)
• To turn off the buzzer without turning off the
machine, touch the Fuel buzzer mute button
to the [OFF] position. Touch the Fuel buzzer
mute button to the [ON] position to turn on
the buzzer again.
• If filling the fuel is stopped for a certain
period, the machine is turned off. If the
machine is turned off, the function can be
restarted by pressing the jog dial switch
again.

3. T
o stop refueling halfway (before filling up), press
the jog dial switch.
5. Coolant temperature gauge
WARNING
T
o avoid personal injury or death:
• Do not open the radiator cap during or just after
operation. Hot coolant may gush out and scald
you. Wait for the coolant to cool down before
opening the cap.
When the engine is running or the start switch mode is
“ACCESSORY,” the coolant-temperature-gauge
indicates the coolant temperature.
If engine coolant rises above a specified temperature
level, the indicator starts blinking and the buzzer starts
beeping every 3 minutes for advance warning. If the
coolant temperature further rises to the critical level, the
blinking intervals become shorter and the buzzer keeps
on beeping.
When the coolant temperature has dropped below
specified temperature level or the engine has been
stopped, the warning will cease.
If the coolant-temperature-gauge is near [H], check the
machine.

35)

(B)
Cool
IMPORTANT :
•
If the message “Coolant temp high” is displayed,
the EGR valve will begin to close and EGR
system will not function. Interrupt the work and
lower the engine rpm, which will reduce the
coolant temperature.
5.1 Checking the coolant temperature
gauge
If the coolant-temperature-gauge is near [H],
take the
following steps.
1. Discontinue the job.
2. Reduce the engine rpm to idle and keep it at idle for
5 minutes.
