Error Messages and Codes
Insert Tray 3
The Tray 3 Size Switch indicates that Tray 3 is not installed. The following
troubleshooting procedure applies to these errors.
Applicable Chain Link
■ Chain Link 024-947: Insert Tray 3 (Tray Missing)
■ Chain Link 024-947: Insert Tray 3 (Tray Detached)
Initial Actions
■ Remove the tray and inspect the tray cavity to ensure that it is free of
obstructions or debris.
■ Reinstall the tray and cycle printer power.
■ If the problem persists, follow the procedure below.
