Measure:
•
Distance between centers of rings
OOS
Replace יו the
piston rings.
NOTE:
The opening of the oil ring spacer can not be
measured. In case the oil ring opening is
excessive, replace the three segments as a
whole.


INSPECTION PISTON PIN
1. Check:
•Piston pin
Blue discoloration / grooves Replace יו
piston pin and then check the lubrication
system
2.
Measure:
•
Outer diameter of piston pin "a" Out of
specification Replace יו
piston pin

Outer diameter of piston pin
14995-15000 mm
Limit
14,975 mm
3. Measure:
•Inner diameter of the piston pin hole "a"
Out of specification Replace piston יו

Bore piston pin hole
15002-15013
Limit
15,043 mm


4.
Calculate:
•
Piston pin clearance - inner diameter of piston
pin
OOS
יו
Replace
piston pin and the piston as a whole.

•Piston pin clearance - inner diameter of piston
pin bore = piston pin hole "b" - Outer diameter
of piston pin "a"


Install piston and cylinder
1. Install:
•Top ring "1"
•
Second ring "2"
•
Oil ring expansion "3"
•
Oil lower guide ring "4"
•
Oil Ring top guide "5"
NOTE:
Be sure to install the piston rings so that the
manufacturer's marks or numbers
are up.
