•Bulb socket (for continuity) (with
multimeter)
No continuity
Replace יו .



a. Set the main switch to "OFF".
b. Install a new fuse of the correct amperage. c.
Setting switches to verify if the
electrical circuit is operating.
d. If the fuse immediately blows again, check
the electrical circuit.


NOTE:
Check the continuity of each socket in the same
manner as described in the section of the bulb,
however, please note the following.

a. Install a good bulb into the socket. b.
Connect the probes of the multimeter to the
respective socket wires.
c. Check the continuity of the socket. If any of the
readings indicate no continuity, replace the
socket.

CHECKING THE FUSE

CAUTION
N:
To prevent a short circuit, always place the main
switch to "OFF" when checking or replacing a
fuse.

1. Remove:
•
Seat and right side cover
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS"
on page 4-1.

2. Check:
•

WARNING
Never use a fuse with a rating other than that
specified. Improvising or using a fuse with the
wrong amperage can cause serious damage to
the electrical system, causing a malfunction in
the lighting and ignition systems, and may cause
a fire.

4. Install:
•
Seat and right cover
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS"
on page 4-1.

CHECKING AND CHARGING

WARNING

Batteries produce explosive hydrogen gas and
contain electrolyte which is toxic and highly
corrosive sulfuric acid. Therefore, always follow
these precautions:
• Use protective equipment for eyes
when handling or working near batteries.
• Load batteries in a well ventilated area.
• Keep batteries away from heat, sparks or flames (eg,
welding equipment, lighted cigarettes).
• No
smoke while charging or handling batteries.
• Store
batteries and electrolyte OUT OF
REACH OF CHILDREN.
• Avoid bodily contact with electrolyte as it can cause
severe burns or permanent eye injury.
FIRST AID IF IN BODY:
EXTERNA
L
•Skin - Wash with water.
•Eyes - Flush with water for 15 minutes
and get immediate medical attention.
