CHECKING THE SHIFT FORKS
DRUM INSPECTION OF CHANGES
1. Check:
The following procedure applies to all changes
forks.
1. Check:

Cam pin fork changes "1" Clips shift fork "2"
Curves / damage / stretch marks / wear
Replace יו
changes fork.
l
Grooves changes in the drum
Damage / scratches / wear
Replace יו
the drum changes.
l
The drum segment changes "1" Damage / wear
Replace יו
the drum
changes.
l
Bearing changes drum "2" Damage / pitting
Replace יו
the drum
changes.









2. Check:
l
Bar fork guide changes
Roll the guide bar shift fork on a flat surface.
Curves
Replace יו.

WARNING
Do not attempt to straighten a guide bar bent
shift fork.

Transmission Inspection
1. Measure:
l
Shaft Deformation main
(With a centering device and dial indicator "1")
OOS
Replace יו shaft
principal.

Shaft limit deformation main
0.03 mm










3.
Check:
l
Movement of the shift fork (Displacement
along the guide bar shift fork)
Rough movement
Replace יו Fork
changes and fork guide bar changes as a
whole.


2.
Measure:
l
Warp Drive Shaft
(With a centering device and dial indicator "1")
OOS
Replace יו shaft
traction.

Shaft limit tensile deformation
0.03 mm
