d. Tighten the locknut.
e. Slide the rubber cover to its original position.
NOTE:
If the free play specified clutch cable, can not be
obtained on the handlebar side, the adjusting nut
used in the motor side.



Motor side
a. Loosen the locknut "1"
b. Turn the adjustment screw "2" in direction "a"
or "b" to obtain the specified free play of the
clutch cable.
Direction "a"
The free play is increased clutch cable
Direction "b"
The free play is decreased clutch cable

NOTE:
Keep the right handlebar



Remove:
Seat
Refer to "GENERAL CHASSIS" on page 4-1
2. Remove:
Cover the air filter box "1" air filter
element

3. Clean:
Air filter element "1"
Apply dry compressed air from the internal surface
of the outside of the air filter element.


c.
Tighten the locknut.


9 Nm (0.9 m · kg, 6.5 ft · lb)



CLEANING THE AIR FILTER ELEMENT
NOTE:
There inspection hose "1" at the base of the air
filter housing. If there is dust and / or water
accumulated in the hose, clean the air filter
element and air filter box.
