CHECKING THE OIL PUMP
1. Check:
•
Primary drive gear oil pump
•
Primary driven gear oil pump
•
Pump housing oil
Cracks / damage / wear
Replace יו the
defective parts.
2. Measure:
•
Clearance between the inner rotor and outer rotor
"a"
•
Clearance between the outer rotor and the
casing of the oil pump "b"
•
Clearance between the casing of the oil pump
and the inner and outer rotors "c".
Out of specification Replace pump יו
oil.

Clearance between the inner
rotor and the outer rotor
Less than 0.15 mm
Limit
0.20 mm
Clearance between the outer rotor
and the casing of the oil pump
0.13 to 0.19
mm
Limit
0.15 mm
Clearance between the casing
of the oil pump and the inner
and outer rotors
0.06 to 0.11


3. Check:
•
Pump operation
Rough movement
Repeat יו Steps (1)
and
(2) or replace the defective part.














Install:
•
Internal rotor of the oil pump
•
External rotor of the oil pump "1"
•
Primary driven gear oil pump
•
Pin "2"

NOTE:
When installing the inner rotor, align the pin "2"
on the shaft of the oil pump slot with "a" in the
inner rotor "1."
