REMOVING THE FRONT WHEEL
1. Place the vehicle on a flat surface.

WARNING
Securely support the vehicle so there is no risk of
falling.

2. Survey:
•Front Wheel
NOTE:
Place the vehicle on a suitable stand so that the
front wheel is lifted.

3. Remove:
•Front Wheel
•Speed Sensor Unit
• Spacer
NOTE:
Do not depress the brake lever when removing
the front wheel.


FRONT WHEEL DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove:
•Oil Seal
•Wheel Bearings
a. Clean the outside of the front wheel
hub.
b. Remove the oil seal "1" with a
flathead screwdriver.
NOTE:
To avoid damaging the wheel, placing a cloth "2"
between the screwdriver and the wheel surface.

c. Remove the wheel bearings with a bearing
puller.





VERIFICATION FRONT WHEEL
1. Check:
• Wheel axle
Roll the wheel axle on a flat surface.
Warping
Replace יו.
WARNING

Do not attempt to straighten a wheel axle.











2. Check:
• Rim
• Front Wheel
Damage / wear
Replace יו.
Refer to "CHECKING THE TIRES" on
page 3-19
Refer to "CHECKING THE WHEELS" on
page 3-20

3. Measure:
• wheel radial deviation "1"
• Wheel windage "2"
Off limits specified Replace יו.

Radial deviation limit wheel
1.0 mm
Limit lateral deviation of the wheel
0.5 mm
