6. Press the “SELECT” or “RESET” buttons to
change the CO adjustment volume “1”.

• To decrease the CO adjustment volume, press
the “RESET” button.
• To increase the CO adjustment volume, press
the “SELECT” button.
7. Press and release the “RESET” and “SE-
LECT” buttons to execute the selection.
8. Turn the main switch to “OFF” to cancel the
mode.

ADJUSTING THE THROTTLE LEVER FREE
PLAY

Prior to adjusting the throttle lever free play, the
engine idling speed should be adjusted.
1. Check:
• Throttle lever free play “a”
Out of specification → Adjust.
2. Adjust:
• Throttle lever free play

Throttle body side
a. Slide back the rubber cover “1”.
b. Loosen the locknut “2”.
c. Turn the adjusting nut “3” in direction “a” or “b”
until the specified throttle lever free play is ob-
tained.
d. Tighten the locknut.

If the specified throttle lever free play cannot be
obtained on the throttle body side of the cable,
use the adjusting nut on the throttle lever side.

Throttle lever side
a. Slide back the rubber cover “4”.
b. Loosen the locknut “5”.
c. Turn the adjusting bolt “6” in direction “c” or
“d” until the specified throttle lever free play is
obtained.
d. Tighten the locknut.
