OIL PUMP
REMOVAL
• When removing the oil pump, do not allow dust
or dirt to enter the engine.
Remove the stator base/water pump (page 7-15).
Remove the oil pump mounting bolts and oil pump.
DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
Remove the following:
– Dowel pins
– Oil pump plate screw
– Pump plate
– Outer rotor
– Inner rotor
Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.
Apply engine oil to
the inner rotor and
outer rotor.
TORQUE: Oil pump plate screw
3 N·m (0.31kgf·m, 2.2 lbf·ft)
