Drive Assembly and Disassembly
This section describes
the
removal
and
replacement
of
the
drive replaceable assemblies.
Note
"
• New drives do
not
include mounting hardware. You
must
remove
the
mounting
hardware
from
the
old drive
and
install
it
on
the
new drive.
• Make sure
the
configuration of
the
new drive is
the
same as
the
old drive
(see Figure 4-12).
Replaceable Assemblies
The
DDS drive is normally replaced as an entire assembly. However,
the
front panel may be
replaced as a subassembly.
