Cassette
Slot: is where
the
tape
cassette is inserted
and
removed.
Unload
Button:
stops any
tape
operation, rewinds
the
tape,
and
ejects
the
cassette from
the
tape
drive.
Cassette
Light
and
Drive Light: indicate
the
status
of
the
tape
drive.
Both
lights are capable
of
displaying yellow
or
green colors.
The
combinations of colors plus being off (no light) show
normal
operation
status,
operation with write
protect,
and
caution
states,
as listed below.
The
various
status
states
you will see
the
indicators display are shown in
the
following tables.
Table 1-8 is for
the
3.5 inch
tape
drive.
The
Cassette
indicator
and
the
Drive
indicator
are hi-color Light
Emitting
Diodes (LEDs).
They
can show green
or
yellow light.
