5-26 Image Optimization
Time Mark
Description
To show the time mark in M mode image.
Operation
Turn on or off the function through [Time Mark] item in the menu in the upper left corner
of the screen.
Effects
When time mark is displayed on the PW mode image, it's much easier to identify the
cardiac cycles and detect more details.
Impacts
The function is available in real-time imaging, freeze or cine review status.
5.7 Color M Mode
Color M mode provides information about color flow or tissue on the M mode images to indicate the
cardiac motion state. It is highly sensitive to the flow or tissue movement.
The Color M mode includes Color Flow M mode and Color Tissue M mode.
CM mode is not available for linear probes.
5.7.1 Enter Color M Mode
Color Flow M Mode
In B + M mode, press <Color> on the control panel to enter the sampling line adjustment status,
and press <M> again.
In B + Color, B + Color + PW or B + Color + CW mode, press <M> twice on the control panel.
Color Tissue M Mode (TVM)
In B + TVI/TVD, or B + TVI + TVD mode, press <M> twice on the control panel.
In Color Flow M mode, press <TDI> on the control panel, press user-defined key for TDI on the
control panel (Assign a key as user-defined TDI: the setting path is "[Setup]→ [System] →[Key
Config]", see 12.1.6 Key Configurationchapter for details) or touch [TDI] on the touch screen
to enter the sampling line adjustment status, and press <M> again.
5.7.2 Exit Color M Mode
Press <Color> or <M> on the control panel to exit Color M mode.
Or, press <B> on the control panel to return to B mode.
5.7.3 Color M Mode Image Parameters
In Color Flow M mode, the parameters that can be adjusted are the same as those in B, M and
Color modes. See the relevant B, Color and M mode sections for details.
In Color Tissue M mode, the parameters that can be adjusted are the same as those in B, M and
TVI modes. See the relevant B, M and TVI mode sections for details.
In Color M mode scanning, the image parameter area in the top-right corner of the screen displays
the real-time parameter values.
ROI Adjustment
The ROI determines the size and position of the color flow or color tissue displayed in the Color M
mode image.
Press <Set> to switch the status among ROI position adjustment, ROI size adjustment, the
position of the sampling line adjustment and the sampling gate adjustment.
Set the ROI position by moving the trackball.
Or, set the ROI size by moving the trackball.
