Removing a Peer Configuration
To remove an existing peer configuration:
1. On the Switch menu, click Network, and then click IPsecIKE Properties to
view the IKE Configuration dialog box (Figure 5-19).
2. On the IKE Peer Database side, click the peer in the list to remove.
3. Click Remove.
4. Click OK to save the changes and exit the IKE Configuration dialog box, or
click Cancel to exit without saving any changes.
Editing a Peer
To edit an existing peer configuration:
1. On the Switch menu, click Network, and then click IPsecIKE Properties to
view the IKE Configuration dialog box (Figure 5-19).
2. On the IKE Peer Database side, click the peer in the list to edit.
3. Click Edit to view the Edit Peer dialog box (Figure 5-21).
4. On the Edit Peer dialog box, make the changes. Refer to Table 5-9 for field
definitions.
5. Click OK to close the Edit Peer dialog box.
6. Click OK to save the changes and exit the IKE Configuration dialog box, or
click Cancel to exit without saving any changes.
Authentication Which type of secret key to use for peer authentication.
Options: public_key, secret
Certificate Name Available only when you select the public_key Authentication
option
Certificate SwitchID Available only when you select the public_key Authentication
option
Certificate PeerID Available only when you select the public_key Authentication
option
Key Available only when you select the secret Authentication
option. Limited to 128 quoted characters or 256 raw hex bytes.
